Read our notes on general
The Pentax WG-1000 features a 16.35-megapixel back-illuminated CMOS sensor and an all-weather body waterproof to 15 meters for up to one hour, dustproof, and shockproof against 2-meter drops. While the shots aren't the sharpest, there is no compromise on color and vibrancy. Users can get up to 300 shots from a single charge with a variety of shooting modes covering most situations. It's great for the beach with a fully waterproof and dustproof build, but it's a little basic with limited connectivity—no Wi-Fi or Bluetooth.
