The Viltrox AF 85mm f/1.4 Pro is a sophisticated and cost-effective pro-grade portrait prime that combines excellent build quality, exotic handling characteristics and beautiful image quality at a bargain price. The lens is very sharp at all mainstream aperture settings with center quality very good to excellent at f/1.4 and excellent outer image field. Autofocus performance is fast and consistent, matching native Sony lenses in most cases. The primary drawback is the lens's weight at 800g, approximately 25% heavier than competing options.
