The Sony FE 100mm F2.8 Macro GM OSS is a new macro prime lens for Sony Alpha full-frame E-mount mirrorless cameras. Sony's first ever G Master macro eclipses its predecessor in every way, delivering 1.4:1 reproduction ratio (1.4x magnification) as standard – going above and beyond the 1:1 (1x) true macro ratio for larger-than-life-size reproduction. The G Master offers compatibility with 1.4x and 2.0x teleconverters – delivering up to 2.8:1 reproduction (2.8x magnification), while stabilization and autofocus make this a legitimate option for handheld shooting. The Sony FE 100mm F2.8 Macro GM OSS is the best of them all among macro lenses, offering breakthrough magnification without sacrificing autofocus performance or image stabilization.
