Read our notes on general
The Sony E PZ 16-50mm F/3.5-5.6 OSS II is a wide to short telephoto zoom designed for cameras with an APS-C (1.5X) sensor. It retracts to just 31.3 mm when camera power is turned off and weighs only 107 grams, making it a durable lens that can withstand day-to-day shooting. The new version features an updated control chip that allows it to focus while zooming and makes it compatible with Sony's latest AF standards, enabling autofocus at up to 120fps for stills or high frame-rate video. The lens is sharp with great-looking images, especially centrally, and presents no problem from most other optical properties.
