This lens offers excellent value for money and is ideal for those looking for a bright and versatile everyday lens, with more than satisfactory image quality and solid construction. While continuous autofocus shows some hesitation with fast-moving subjects (common at this price), for normal use or with moderately moving subjects the autofocus is more than adequate for both photos and videos. Despite minor limitations in continuous autofocus and some compromises with flare, it's an excellent choice for those expanding their gear without spending a fortune, perfect for landscapes, portraits, and street photography.
