Read our notes on general
The 7Artisans AF 35mm F1.8 is sharp, with good colors, and punches well above its price point. It uses metal construction for greater durability, offers a customizable FN button and MF/AF switch, and features an aperture ring that is stepless for silent and smooth operation when shooting video. In outdoor daylight situations, the autofocus speed and accuracy are very reliable, though autofocusing has room for improvement in low light and can hunt. This is the type of lens that is versatile enough to be your daily driver, but can also work in professional contexts.
