Read our notes on general
The GoPro MAX 2 is an entire overhaul of the original MAX, with upgraded sensors giving a full 8K of usable footage and almost all the modes and features found on a GoPro Hero 13 Black. Its most distinctive design feature is a tool-free replaceable lens system where the rubber barrel of each lens lets you twist it off with your fingers, and the lenses themselves are relatively affordable to replace. With advanced reframing tools in the app and desktop software, you can reframe footage to keep a subject at the center of the action without needing to track or pan your camera.
